Anti-Bullying Flashmob Hits Vancouver

We were so excited when we saw this video on YouTube of almost 2,000 students staging a flashmob at Vancouver Giants hockey game to raise awareness about bullying. Partway through the game they broke out into dance choreographed to One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful.” Each participant wore a pink t-shirt bearing the message “Acceptance”, making for a sea of pink in the arena that couldn’t be ignored!

“It was such a great experience [for the students],” school principal Darren Mitzel, one of the flashmob’s organizers, told a local news outlet. “These are the kinds of things that kids will remember.”

Other people in the crowd even started getting into the spirit and dancing along, truly showing the ripple effect that standing up for what you believe in can have. Way to go, Vancouver, for spreading the word on such an important cause!

Watch the video below and share it with your friends to show off the power of We!
